From turin or Milan take the A5 Turin-Aosta motorway until the "Aosta Ovest" exit. From here follow the state road n 26 in the direction of Courmayeur until you rich Villeneuve, turn of here for Introd wich is couple kilometres past Villeneuve.The village of Introd is situated in the confluence of the Valle di Rhemes and Valsavaranche where the Gran Paradiso National Park starts. In the village it is possible to admire the castle, the church and the tower, the architecture of "L'Ola" a fifteenth century farmhouse and ancient bridge, wich passes over the river 100 meters below. From the bridge there is also a splendid view of the central Valley. In the hamlet of Les Combes, where for years pope John Paul 2nd has enjoyed his summer holidays, ther is a small museum dedicated to the Saint Pope.
